The personal data processing manager in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter referred to as the GDPR) is SIA EXIM TRANS.

What is the Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy of SIA EXIM TRANS (hereinafter referred to as the Company) describes the Company's guiding principles regarding the processing of personal data within the Company's activities, unless otherwise specified in specific terms of a product, service, relationship or application.

The Privacy Policy applies to the processing of data of an individual and does not apply to a legal entity. However, in relevant parts, it applies to representatives and employees of a legal entity.

The Company's web pages (sites) may contain links to third-party sites / Internet resources that are not covered by this Privacy Policy.

Legal basis for the processing of personal data. The Company processes personal data mainly on the following legal grounds:

processing is necessary to fulfill a legal obligation to which the Manager is subject;

processing is necessary for the conclusion and performance of a contract;

processing is necessary to pursue the legitimate interests of the Controller or a third party (including the implementation of commercial activities, development of goods and services, prevention of illegal actions in relation to the Company's property and other legitimate interests).

Security of data processing. The Company, within the framework of applicable laws and regulations, ensures the confidentiality of personal data and applies appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data from unauthorized access, illegal processing or disclosure, accidental loss, alteration or destruction.

Storage and deletion of personal data. The Company stores personal data for the period and in the manner prescribed by laws and regulations, while the storage period of personal data may be specified in service or cooperation agreements and other related documents. Or it is determined by the Company based on the purposes and principles of data processing.

Saved personal data will be deleted if the consent of the data subject to their storage is revoked, if the data is no longer needed for the purposes for which they were stored, or if their storage is not allowed for other legitimate reasons.

Categories of recipients of personal data. The Company does not disclose the client's personal data or any information obtained in the course of providing services and executing the contract to third parties, except:

in accordance with the explicit and unambiguous consent of the client;

to persons provided for by external laws and regulations, upon their reasonable request, in the manner and to the extent provided for by external laws and regulations (for example: the State Police, the State Revenue Service, the State Environmental Protection Service, etc.);

in cases provided for by external laws and regulations, as well as to protect the legitimate interests of the Company, for example, in the event of legal proceedings or other procedures in courts or other state bodies against a person who has violated the legitimate interests of the Company;

if the relevant third party must provide data under an agreement concluded to perform a function necessary for the performance of the agreement or delegated by law (for example, to a bank for settlements);

Cookies. A cookie is a small string of text sent by a website server to a client (usually a web browser) that is stored on the user's computer or mobile device as a simple file. It allows the server to identify the user by checking the cookie sent by the client.

To warn about the use of cookies and give the user the opportunity to make a choice, the following message is displayed: "This site uses cookies. We use cookies to personalize content and advertising, to provide social media features and to analyze traffic. We also share information about your use of our site with our social media, advertising and analytics partners, who may combine it with other information that you provide to them or that they collect when you use their services." Advertising cookies: Both SIA «EXIM TRANS» and third-party cookies are used to serve personalised ads on our and other websites. These are called redirected homepages and are based on your browsing activity on our website, such as the services you have searched for. These cookies are usually placed by third parties, such as Google AdWords and Facebook, with our permission for the purposes stated. When using the contact form to ask a question and, accordingly, send personal data, the information specified in the request, including the contact details specified in it, will be saved in order to process the request and, if necessary, ask additional questions. The requester may at any time revoke their consent to the use of the information contained in the contact form by notifying the company in writing.

Video surveillance. In order to ensure the legitimate interests of the Company, prevent criminal offenses and protect the property of the Company, video surveillance of the Company's facilities is carried out.

To ensure video surveillance, processing and storage of data, the Company has engaged a specialized company with the status of a data processor. To contact the data processor, you must contact the Company.

Processing of job applications. Applicants who have sent their resumes, application letters, etc. in response to the Company's job offers are deemed to have sent their resumes, application letters, etc. (and therefore personal data) to have given their consent to this privacy policy. The Company's responsible employees have the right to review such documents.

Personal data for participation in lotteries - name, surname, address

By participating in the SIA EXIM TRANS lottery, the participant confirms that they have read the lottery rules and the use of their data for the purposes of the lottery draw in accordance with the laws and regulations of the Republic of Lithuania. The rules of each lottery are developed separately, approved by the Lotteries and Gambling Supervision Inspection and published in the public domain.

Profiling of personal data and automated decision-making. The Company does not perform profiling and automated decision-making regarding the processing of personal data.

Estimated age. The Company's services are available to individuals who have reached the age of majority and have the appropriate legal capacity. The use of the Company's services (and the corresponding data processing) by minors, persons under guardianship or trusteeship is possible through the relevant representatives (parents, guardians or trustees).

Consent of the data subject to data processing and the right to revoke it. The data subject has the right to revoke consent to data processing at any time, in the same manner in which it was given and/or by submitting a separate application. In this case, further processing based on the previously given consent for a specific purpose will not be carried out. The revocation of this consent does not affect the data processing that was carried out at the time when the Client's consent was in force.

Revocation of consent cannot stop the processing of data that is carried out on other legal grounds.

Contact with the Manager. The data subject has the right to contact the Company (data manager) to exercise their rights. In particular, if the information about personal data provided by the data subject changes, the data subject has the right to correct (adjust) their personal data by contacting the Company. The Company has the right to take additional measures for identification, as well as to document the fact of identification of the data subject and to document the fact of the information provided or other action taken. Anonymous requests, suggestions, complaints, letters, etc. are not processed or considered by the Company. The Company has the right to refuse to comply with the data subject's request in cases provided for by regulatory enactments, as well as in the event that the data subject unreasonably refuses to provide his/her identifying information.

Contacting the Data Protection Officer. If the data subject is not satisfied with the information received from the Company (data controller) or has specific questions regarding the implementation of data protection, the data subject may contact the data protection officer appointed by the Company (e-mail: [email protected]).

Updating and amending the Privacy Policy. Date of updating the Privacy Policy: 17.03.2023. The Company has the right to unilaterally amend the Privacy Policy at any time due to changes in the Company's activities or in regulatory enactments and other mandatory documents, informing about this by mail (if provided) or on the websites (sites) of the Company. The Company may change the links provided in the Privacy Policy and the content to which these links lead, if necessary and without prior notice.
